Residential Environments and Design
The Residential Environments and Design major focuses on designing, selecting, and marketing residential spaces and products. Graduates learn the skills needed to succeed in the ever-changing housing and design industry, such as an understanding of population diversity, the range of available products, growing concerns for health, safety, energy and the natural environment, and rapid changes in technology. Our students have access to the Center for Real Life Design, a design demonstration studio where student make their ideas a reality. Graduates work directly with their clients while having the opportunity to use their creative design and problem-solving skills.

Interesting Fact: Our program is accredited by the National Kitchen and Bath Association. This allows students to prepare for national certification exams.
